I used to pack into the Bob Marshall Wilderness area with my old friend Ray Jacobsen. More often, we were there to fish than to hunt. It took me a long time to commit to making a sculpture of the pack string. It brings back memories of good times, good friends, and a few good wrecks. This is a new shorter version of the original 2009 Meat Ain’t Cheap.
