Leo, 54, was a member of the Siksika Nation east of Calgary. He was a tipi holder at The Calgary Stampede and a buckskin dancer. Leo was a member of the Horn Society, a teacher, and a wise advisor to many. Leo made his living as a rancher east of Calgary in the Cluny area. He had much in common with Jay, especially the love of horses.
“Leo visited with the men around me as I worked. I listened more than participated, but I liked what he had to say.“
