From 1984 to 2024, Jay Contway generated a total of 244 castings for The Calgary Stampede. This represents less than four percent of all the sculpture Jay created in his lifetime, and yet, Jay credited The Calgary Stampede with the making of his career due to the people he met, the connections he made, and the sculptures he sold from his booth.
